Lately I have been hearing a high whistling sound when Im stationary in park.

Possibly a vacuum leak. Suggest trying to pinpoint the location of the noise by using a one or two foot length of rubber or vinyl tubing. Put one end into your ear, and move the other end around the engine compartment, when it's whistling. I've used this trick and it has worked well.
