What is your question?
I have a '98 Ford Explorer XL with 142,500 miles on it. It has been 100% dependable until the fuel pump had to be replaced. Not too long after that it just wouldn't turn over. It wasn't the battery so I called my tow assist and off it went to the repair shop. Same guy who did the fuel pump. So he replaced ignition coil, crank sensor and gave it a tune up. All this costs $550.00... And off I went. The next day it was doing the same thing. I was not a happy camper. It needs to be fixed. Do I trust this mechanic? I'm a woman. I have trust issues. What would you do? Love to all, Stranded

check all your connections and make sure they are plugged all the way in,dont ever assume a shop to be truthful they depend on you for income, dirty business men there are alot of, even if its reading up on more than basic knowledge you should to find better questions to ask so he thinks you now more than basics, dont be fooled many set you up to come back, i know ive caught many trying to get one on me and payed the price for being dirty lol stupid them for not expecting a mechanic himself to bring a car in
Thanks for the response. I'll ask him if he checked the connections. I can't do that myself. I wonder if I should ask him for a refund because the things he did didn't fix the car.... He seems to have a good reputation in town. But I'm thinking next time I'll go to the dealer. Again, thanks. I appreciate it.
