we can't get to the back because the gate won't open. neither the remote or by key. i do hear a motor winding when trying to open it. my stroller is stuck back there.

have you tried pressing the manual unlock switch on the inside of the back, i know crawling back there from the front isnt fun. I would try that first, if all else fails you should be able to open just the glass using the key switch to at least muscle your stroller out.
