What is your question?
I just replaced the rear brake pads and rotors on my Explorer. The front brake pads are in good condition but may need rotors. Is it ok to just replace the rotors with replacing the pads too? Also, needs ball joints, should I replace front and rear balls joints. No problems as yet but mechanic says they need replacing.

if you are replacing the rotors because they are thin, if they are smooth and even then you should be fine with lots of pad. if the rotors have grooves then chances are your pads will to, its possible you could put grooves in your fresh rotors.
