Coolant level is fine but temp gauge runs to hot, also white smoke from exhaust

Would check to see if the head gasket is blown

DO NOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE ANYMORE! You need to have it checked for a blown head gasket or cracked head. If you continue to drive it you will be putting an engine in it.
