Reman transmission just put in when you put it in drive makes a clunking noise and dies

What is your question?

It makes the clunking noise hot or cold. Drove it 3.7 miles pulled in driveway it started jerking then when i stopped it died. Then when i start it and put it in any foward gear it clunks an dies. Can put it in reverse and it works.
