What is your question?
problem has been getting worse for 6 months. now it wont even start. it actually runs fine when you first put it in gear but after about ten seconds then the lope begins. i've checked for vac leaks, spark, fuel pressure, and hooked up computer to an anilizer and it showed no problem. the timing chains have been noisy for a while. checked compression. (150 lbs). when you try to start it the engine turns over its rough not smooth like it used to be. It doesn't show any sign of starting. the engine shows no reaction to starting fluid.
What makes this problem better or worse?
same all the time

You have confirmed via ‘proper’ *hands-on* TESTING that there is sufficient SPARK - FUEL DELIVERY - COMPRESSION - - Engine will not attempt to start on starting fluid - - The ONLY THING left is plugged exhaust! I suspect you may have missed some-thing. Good luck!
