When first crank the the truck up it a knocking noise.then the low oil pressure light comes on .when light goes off noise stops
What makes this problem better or worse?
It gets louder then the oil pressure light goes off noise stops.then pressure light come back on and noise again
How long has your 2006 Ford Expedition had this problem?
It started in November have moved it since then

Hello, if you're hearing a knocking noise, damage has been done. Sure, it could be an oil pump concern, but it could also be the wrong oil grade being used (should be 5W20), an inferior or restricted oil filter, some other kind of internal engine concern, or just a worn engine.
