What is your question?
As I put the car in drive, it takes a while for the car to move. Like it's review up to 3500 rpm, then it would jerk, and shoots up to move. Then gears slips again on 2nd. When I reach to 3rd and I'm going up to 40 mpH highways no proboem. It's when I'm at a full stop, the car is hesitant to move. Torque convent had been fixed 6 months ago. Please, please, ford experts, I need your help.

if fluid full, most likely internal trans problem. rec. have someone drive and diagnose it
We tried driving it again. But it won't drive forward anymore, would only drive in reverse. I think we'll have to get the transmission rebuilt now, which I was trying to avoid.
or take the chance at lower cost to have used trans installed but will also have less warranty coverage
Where do you advise on getting this work done with good work and with the right price. I'm going to drive the car to california. So I want it to be reliable and not break down while I'm on the road.
if going long distance, rec. have your trans overhauled,i would not recommend a used one. I do not know any shops in the Miami area so cannot advise anyone close to you for rebuild.
So the best thing to then is to have the transmission rebuilt? I'm right on countyline rd. so I'm not that far from broward. Any other suggestion how to go about this?. I really appreciate all your help.
Just think that getting used transmission is to risky. may be ok now but who knows how long before u have another issue. I know getting rebuild is a bit expensive but I think best for long term. that also depends on who does it. I can send it out through my shop or can refer u to a good place but they are here in coral springs. maybe shop around to closer trans shop. there were 3 transmissions in the expeditions so I would need more info to get u an estimate but I know the cheapest one of the three is about 1750 for overhaul with 18 month/18,000 mile warranty. that's through my shop. not sure if went there directly
