I will make two recommendations. Go to parts store and they will have price options for you and you can call ahead and get info over phone. While you are there get an inexpensive repair manual that shows step by step instructions for filter replacement, pics also, for many many repairs and maintenances on your vehicle. Money well spent. Usually about $25-$30.

Anything but FRAM. **************************************** I agree with EXPERTEC. If the fuel filter has not been changed in too long a time it will overwork the fuel pump trying to push fuel thru a clogged filter. This kind of thing happens when people do not do the maintenance and/or they believe the car seller-dealer or used car lot-that the fuel filter will protect the fuel pump forever. The owners manual has two levels of maintenance needs, always follow the more extreme schedule. Or just do breakdown maintenance as my father used to say-wait for it to quit and then quess at what is really wrong with it. I am so happy that I am not one of so many American drivers out there that just drive around with their heads in the clouds and never take the time to learn/know about what they spend the second most money on next to their house.
