Switch is good and has been tested. Fuse box new just replaced. Lights worked fine for a few days, then heard a "tink" sound from the dash area, and headlights went out. Fuses good. Both low and high beams do not come on. But when I jumped the wires behind the headlight switch, the headlights work. Even replaced headlight switch with new one. But still I get no power to the lights. Please help?
What makes this problem better or worse?
No power to headlights.
How long has your 2003 Ford Expedition had this problem?

By any chance have you got under the hood in engine area and see if there may be Rodent activity? Possibly may have chewed wires.
