I changed my steering column an it will start but dies after it start the thief light is flashing on

Hello, sounds like a transceiver issue. If you replaced the steering column but did not reuse the transceiver from then original column, then your passive anti theft system (PATS) keys aren't going to communicate to your vehicle.
