What is your question?
my 2000 expy ,had 265/70/17 on stock rim. i replaced them with 265/75/16 m/t on american eagle alloys 16/8. my question is that ,is it normal rim getting really hot that u can't touch them? i only drove a few blocks ..and rims are about 3/8 inch away from hot calipers,is it that alloy gets hotter?

Very well could be. The brakes will transfer heat to anything close like wheels. If you have a brake hanging up the heat never gets a chance to cool off. Is it just one or all wheels?
thanks for the reply .its the front wheels that get hotter..and i was thinking about some 1/4 wheel spacers.the spacers have some slots between lug holes, making less heat transfer, what u guys think?oh and i bought wheels very cheap ..not really my choice on 16/8..i know i should stick with original 17's but they look way cool.
