What is your question?
My 99 expedition (175,000) miles started making noise. Ford repair said it was the rear differential and recommended I get a new car due to age and mileage. An independent mechanic said that I should just replace the bearings but my Ford guy said that was a half-baked job. He said if I choose do to it I should replace all the bearings and the pinions and he said rings or racks I did not hear him well. Do you have a thought on this. I love my truck and I know it is old but they do not build them like this any more! The new trucks seem like tin and they are a fortune! Thanks, Caren
