Ah........company guy here going to recommend the Motorcraft shock absorbers as replacement units. See your dealership... They are value priced (make the parts guys kick down the price if it's too high!), and I believe they have a lifetime warranty. In the aftermarket, there are several solid brands, of course; I don't think there are any that really stand out and make anyone say "wow, get these for sure". You want to make sure you have a shock suited to the vehicle and your needs. Nothing is worse than having a shock that is suddenly too stiff for your 4x4 Expedition. The ride will suffer, especially in conjunction with parts that are 13 years old in your steering and suspension.
