Miles to empty gauge

I assume that you are looking at a trip computer, which functions like a calculator and tells you miles per gallon and miles to empty and other useless information. if you want this fixed, you will most likely need to take it to the dealer.

There is not a whole lot anyone at the dealer can do; the programming is not adjustable by any diagnostic tool. The 'miles to empty' feature is not scientific by any means, and can fluctuate wildly due to multiple conditions. The intentions are always good, but it bases everything off of averages, cumulative.
