I am fueling the vehicle and my miles to empty reading fluctuates by many miles in only a few hundred yards of actual driving. Can I reset by disconnecting battery or do I actually need service?
There is not a whole lot anyone at the dealer can do; the programming is not adjustable by any diagnostic tool. The 'miles to empty' feature is not scientific by any means, and can fluctuate wildly due to multiple conditions. The intentions are always good, but it bases everything off of averages, cumulative.
