I first had an antifreeze leak, they replaced 1st the thermostate and housing..then said the water pump needed replacing..thank god cause warranty covered it all...now rhe car is overheating....cnat drive 10 miles without the temp gauge going up...took it into garage, they said the fan and ccrm needs to be replace...$630.00.(not under warranty)...the air works and all else sems ok but the overheating issues...also the fan worked that day wheb they looked at it but I think its intermittent...the fan turns by hand,do I need to replace just the ccrm.....dealer wants 240.00...autozone 190.00...where do I turn

The CCRM is likely a huge factor here, and I can concur with your concern about maybe over-repairing the vehicle. Hard for me to say, though, without inspecting the motor and the wiring connector at the motor. The fan may indeed spin, but if it's electrically a problem, you won't see it that way. Nothing would hurt replacing one part at a time...
