What is your question?
Driving home lastnight my headlight and tailights went out as if you just turned the switch off. If you click the highbeams on still nothing but if you push the headlight switch forward the high beams come on but nothing else.

It is a possibility the head light switch has failed (you do get the high beams to flash when you operate the switch so you are getting "main power" to the switch. You would need a proper wiring diagram and volt ohm meter to do tests on the circuit to see where the fault is. Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online At the head light switch the white wire should be live all the time through a 15Amp fuse in the fuse box, and that white wire gets grounded by the head light switch to operate the parking lights. Brown should bee "live" at the headlight switch with the switch in the off position via a 100Amp main fuse link and gets grounded to operate the head light relay when the head light switch is operated to the "head lights" on position. There is a headlight and parking light system relay in the circuit as well, one in the fuse box one in the relay box, testing at those relays for power and continuity may be necessary.
