My blower keeps going out. Believe it is the resister. When it comes on, it works great. But only comes on so often. And also works at different speeds. Checked fuses several times. And fan switch seems ok, when it does come on. Read that it should keep working on high. So,am i looking at the wrong part? I am dyeing in this heat!!!! But won't give up my ZX2! Thanks for any help!!!!! Robert

I had the same problem and had the resistor replaced this past week. The mechanic said the problem could be the blower motor. He said the blower motor may be faulty and putting out too much heat to the resistor causing it to burn out. Rather than pay $200 (the cost of a new blower motor) I opted to replace the resistor. If the blower motor quits again, I'll know why. Good luck.
