a few weeks/ hear a hiss after i start it. when i stop for any lights or traffic. its died on me twice but starts right back up

Check for a possible air intake leak -- maybe an air tube that is cracked under the hood. Beyond that, testing is needed for your engine performance components to see what is happening when the problem occurs.
