The idle air control is controller by the vehicle computer. If you replaced the valve and it still idles high it could be a computer problem or it could be drawing air in somewhere else causing the idle to be high. hit the idleler with hammer if it idles down then that idler is dirty inside or just replace its located right b4 butterfly

Look for an air intake leak, as Larry is referring to. The air tube may be cracked which is not uncommon for this vehicle. You could have an intake manifold leak or another vacuum leak. Please don't hit your new IAC valve with a hammer...................
