Car chugging at startup

Hello, This sounds like one of three issues: fuel delivery, idle air control valve, or ignition. The fuel filter may be clogged, you may have a bad spark plug, spark plug wire, or distributor cap/rotor, or the idle air control valve may be leaking or clogged.
