Will not engage in first gear. Gears grind but do not mesh

Hello, sounds like a clutch issue along with likely a synchro issue and even maybe a shifter fork issue. Way too hard to know. Nothing easy here - sounds like some tear down investigation is needed, or merely acquiring some used components to replace yours.
