Liftgate glass window ajar

Hello, there is a switch at the lift gate glass that for some reason is showing that the latch is not secure. Beyond opening and closing the glass a few times to see if the light goes off, you may want to try spraying some lubricant in the latch area because the little switch in there may be stuck in the 'open' position even when the glass is securely latched. Other than that, some testing may be needed for the related wiring circuit, or the switch ultimately could require replacement.
