high beams quit working. both high beams stopped working at the same time.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! This is gonna sound weird, but have you checked the bulbs? I've actually seen both headlight bulbs blow at the same time! There can be what are called dual filament bulbs, and while the low beams work, the high beams might not. Check the fuse box under the hood. There should be a fuse/relay map on the lid. Check to see if there's a high beam relay in there. If all else fails make sure the switch is working properly.
