When I have to stop at lights or signs a warning beep continues until the car is moving again. If I put the car in neutral or park the beeping stops

I suspect the parking brake warning. Are there any lights that come on the dash when you hear the beeping. Try releasing the parking brake. Alex

Thanks for the reply. Though I never use the parking brake I will try engaging it and then releasing it. I hope it works the beeping noise is akin to torture.

Were you able to get this resolved? I think my 2013 Escape might be doing the same thing. Does the beep sound like you are pushing the touch screen? Ford dealer mechanics were baffled.
