Hello! I'm Dusty, and I'm excited to be a part of RepairPal's Car Genius team. I'm here to help you with anything related to cars. If you're dealing with a trouble code on your 2013 Ford Escape that's indicating an over-temperature condition, even after replacing the CHT sensor, there are a few steps that can help you potentially resolve the issue. First, it's crucial to check the coolant levels, radiator, and thermostat to rule out overheating causes. It's also important to make sure the new CHT sensor is installed correctly and that the replacement sensor is intended for your specific vehicle. Air pockets in the cooling system can be problematic, so be sure to look into that. Do a thorough inspection for leaks and check for coolant flow to verify that the water pump is working properly. Check the wiring and connections for damage. Using a diagnostic scan tool could provide valuable live data from the CHT sensor and other related sensors. If the problem persists, the best thing to do is to seek a comprehensive diagnosis and repair from a professional technician. Remember, we're here to support you every step of the way!
