engine losses power and lunges,heard bang sound twice .no warning lights.

driving 110kmph on highway heard 2 bangs no warning lights but made it home, the next day started went 10ft. SUV lurched went 20 ft. more lurched again turn left up from our underground parking made it maybe 10ft. up the ramp and lost all forward movement. did not stall felt like we were in limp mode but that was not enough power to go up the ramp. almost felt like a transmission problem. not sure
