What is your question?
We bought a used 2013 Ford Escape and an extended warranty less than 3 years ago. Since then we've had it in the shop 3 times for a coolant leak. They claim to have done pressure tests on the car and have found the same bad valve 3 times now and replaced that along with a bypass hose. We just got it fixed again last week and we were planning on visiting our family 4 hours away this weekend when we went out and found the coolant leaking again so we called the Ford dealership where we've had all our repairs done on this car and they told us to bring it back in. However, we are now out of warranty on this car and the last time they tried to make us pay for the repair, until we reviewed the diagnostic report and previous repairs and found out it was the same part they replaced a year ago and was covered under the 2 year part agreement. So my question is, why would this valve keep going bad? Could back pressure from somewhere keep causing the damage?
