AC rediator fan is not running while the AC is on

I replaced my AC compressor and the condenser fan is not running when the AC is on. The technician decided to run a direct relay wire which now makes the fan to be permanently on once the car engine is running. After doing this, the car AC fan and rediator fan comes on once the car engine is running with or without putting on the AC. I have driven the car round town for about 5hours and the temperature is just at the centre of the gauge. I will like to know the implications of the direct fan relay connection and the possible solution to this as I am not comfortable with this new arrangement from my technician Thanks you CELESTINE
