on occasion my ford has lost speed from 45 to 20 even thou I am flooring the gas pedal. and it seems to jerk, also makes a grinding noise. I was at a light and stopped went to go on green car made a horrible metal on metal noise no engine light came on , did take it to a ford dealership for an oil change told them what happened couldn't find anything wrong. has happened several times

Well both symptoms listed doesn,t seem to go to together. We would need to scan the computer system for codes to see if any thing is stored in the computer.
