After adding 2 quarts of transmission fluid I was on my way back to parts store for more tranmission fluid and half way there it did the same thing I pushed on gas it wouldn't go . I had my mechanic go out he put 3 quarts in drove it 500 feet and it started doing the same thing it's leaking fluid out the front of the transmission it want hold transmission fluid what is going on no indication that anything was wrong with it no slipping gears change as they always have no noises
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, when there is not enough transmission fluid in the transmission, a couple things are sure to happen - one, you won't get gear engagement and two - you'll damage internal transmission components. Since you indicate there is a present active leak (which sounds significant in nature), it would seem this leak must be repaired before doing anything further. However, even when the leak is fixed, you may still have a problem internally.
