cruise control button/switches

What is your question?

How do you replace(remove & install) the steering wheel cruise control switches. I see a small torx screw but removing this still does not allow the switch to be removed from the steering wheel.

You have to deactivate the air bag system first and foremost. Use extreme caution. 1. Remove the driver air bag module. 2. Remove the 4 screws and the steering wheel cover. 3. Remove the 4 nuts and the steering wheel brace. 4. Disconnect the electrical connectors. 5. Remove the 4 speed control switch screws and the speed control switches.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it was accessible from the topside. I have never removed an airbag mod (old school). I'll check my Haynes. Thank you.
