average repair cost for front flexpipe

I have an 04 I just replaced flex pipe w/o buying it already attached to y pipe lookin at 30 to 40 buck and the pain to cut out old and put in new wit clamps or tac weld.....tho the proper fix would be buy y pipe(flex piece is included) lookin at almost 200bucks for pipe alone
