a/c stopped working after on-ramp excelleration started making noise.compressor?

What is your question?

hard to see compressor on this engine(where's my 289},will I need to change any other componet to fix this? I ran it for about 6 weeks like this, could that damage any other related part even though I did't turn on a/c?
