What is your question?
For the past 2 years I have had an issue with the throttle control sensor that triggers the check engine light to come on. When this happens the car runs jerky and very rough. My mechanic has tried various solutions that only seem to be temporary fixes. He has replaced the sensor, replaced some of the wiring, and even ran a bypass wire to alleviate the issue. This last attempt actually worked for about 7 month, but now the problem has started all over again. I'm frustrated that this issue is constantly showing up and creating issues for me. What else can be done to fix this issue once and for all. I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions on how to stop this problem?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, what is the code retrieved when the problem occurs? In many cases, these codes relate to needing to replace the throttle body itself. It's just a guess from here, but I can say I've seen it quite a bit with Ford products in the last couple decades. As always hands on testing is warranted. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area.
The code is P0120. As I said my mechanic has already replaced the sensor, some wiring and done other things to try to fix the problem. This has been a random issue for about 2 years. I don't know for sure if my mechanic checked the throttle body itself. I will ask him tomorrow. Thanks for your reply!
