What is your question?
After it stalled on the Hwy it restarted and ran fine for a couple weeks. Then it started running rough and went into limp mode made it home (5-6 miles) Code reader said it was an ignition coil bank D code. I changed that coil and plug but it still won't start. Could it be the pcm? Also how can you test the pc?
How long has your 2005 Ford Escape had this problem?

Hello, doubtful to be a PCM concern. Not knowing more about the 16 year history of this vehicle it's hard to really know what might be happening. Hands on testing is required. How can you test it? With a proper Ford IDS diagnostic tool (or equivalent), years of diagnostic training specific to this vehicle and engine, and resources such as workshop manuals, powertrain and emissions manuals and wiring diagrams. I'm sorry - it just needs to be addressed the right way, and without guessing. This isn't easy and quick maintenance and light repair, it's troubleshooting. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
