both abs warning light and brake light stay on. What should I do?

Check brake fluid level first. If its ok you probaly have to take it into a shop for diagnoses and repair. Not uncommom for abs sensor tone ring on axle to get damaged or come loose.

Check the brake fluid level to make sure it is where it is supposed to be. You will need to take the car in to a shop for diagnosing the ABS light. It may be a wheel speed sensor has failed or any number of other issues. The main thing is to remember you do not have ABS brakes as long as the ABS light is on.
