High idle when oil dipstick is in lowers when pulled out why ?

First question would be: Why remove the engine oil dipstick with the engine running? There is no purpose to. Crankcase ventilation and engine vacuum can vary slightly when removing the dipstick, and i imagine this would cause a slight fluctuation of engine idle. If there are other outstanding engine performance problems, this fluctuation could be accentuated.
