Oil leak

What is your question?

I was told oil pan was leaking so a mechanic replaced gaskets. It still leaks. Could it be oil plug that is leaking. I have spent nearly a thousand on trying to find leak. Another mechanic said it was the oil pan also. But how can it be if gasket was replaced. I'm very frustrated with this oil leak and cannot afford to keep replacing things. What is leaking then?
