If the voltage at the battery is 11.89 when the engine is running, then the alternator is not charging. My suggestion is to have the battery and charging system checked out. It should take an experienced technician 1/2 hour or less to diagnose tis type of problem in most cases. Make sure the shop performs a voltage drop on the battery cables. Good Luck!
