NO WARNING LIGHTS ARE ON. MY CAR MANUAL SUGGESTS IT MIGHT BE THE SRS SYSTEM PROBLEM

Is there an SRS/airbag light on? If there is a fault in the system you would imagine a warning light would be on. Perhaps best to post this question on a Ford Escape specific forum or call by your nearest Ford dealership and ask them what the buzzer is.
