I jst went to put my car in reverse and the arm slid over teeth loosely and wont engage in gear? What is it and how much.Key wont come out of ignition because cant get into park.Have emergency brake on.Called towtruck

Your shifter cable is broken and it needs to be replaced but you can manually change the gears under the hood of the car but you would need someone with you.
