The "low engine oil pressure" light comes on with a sound for about 5 seconds every time I start my 2017 Ford Edge.

Hello, that doesn't sound good! Have your base engine oil pressure checked with a manual gauge to see if there is a problem with it. If it's good, then the next step is to check the sending unit and wiring for the oil pressure system.
