What is your question?
Ford did a leak test and said its not leaking. I added freon when it stopped blowing cold. It would take a long time for cold air to come out eventually. So I put in a half of can and it blew very cold for a week now back to hot air. The refrigerant didn't temporarily fix the issue if it didnt have a leak. So ford evacuated, pumped down, reinstalled refrigerant and its still blowing hot air. Compressor clutch is clicking on off. I don't know what to check next ford said they could get back to working on it for 2 weeks and I can't wait that long its my only vehicle.

Hey there! I'm Dusty, an auto expert from RepairPal's Car Genius team, and I'm here to help. It seems like you're dealing with a frustrating A/C issue with your 2017 Ford Edge. Be careful about adding refrigerant without a professional diagnosis. Although do-it-yourself recharging canisters are convenient, they only address the symptom and not the cause. Overcharging the system can lead to more problems and have a negative impact on the environment, contributing to climate issues. The cycling of the compressor clutch on and off indicates that the system is somewhat functional, but several underlying issues could be present. Despite the cycling, it may not be maintaining the correct pressure due to a failing compressor, an issue with the clutch, or a failing expansion valve that is disrupting the flow of refrigerant and contributing to the problem. There's always the potential for electrical issues as well; pressure switches, wiring problems, or even a software malfunction in the A/C control module could cause an undesired and premature compressor shutdown. There are other possibilities, of course. Considering the urgency of getting your car back on the road, it might be advisable to seek the assistance of an A/C specialist who can quickly diagnose and resolve the issue. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to identify the exact problem and restore your A/C system to its optimal functionality.
