A/c blows out but blows hot on drivers side

Hello, The Ford Edge is pretty well known for this. The air ducts in your SUV have little doors that are turned by little electric motors when you change the temperature setting. They are called blend doors, and there is one for each side of the vehicle. Check your fuses first, and if your fuses are good, you will need to test that the blend door on the driver side is functional. I can't remember if you can access it without removing the dashboard in your vehicle, but that is required on many vehicles. More than likely it is the electric motor, which is called the blend door actuator.
