What does it mean when your door ajar light stays on with all doors closed

A door ajar light that stays on while all doors are closed indicates that one of the sensors - switches - at the doors is staying "open" when the door is closed. Each door has a switch usually in the latch area that should be checked. You can use penetrating oil to spray on each door latch and open and close the doors to see if the concern results from loosening up a binding switch.
