It's made of the track assembly, the glass panels, the motor and the shades, plus the cables and linkages that attach everything together. Sometimes jams can occur, but the motor keeps on running, resulting in plastic portions of the track and shade fracturing. When this happens, you have to replace the track assembly typically, or portions of the sliding shades. There's nothing easy here, it's kind of all a pain.
