PTU unit repair or replacement

Unfortunately, it is impossible for us in this forum to know what your extended warranty covers. Most extended warranties would cover all powertrain components for internal lubricated parts, and most for leaks -- but some extended warranties even exclude "seals and gasket" coverage. You will need to refer to your contract to see what the coverage is, contact the toll free number on it for clarity as needed, and refer to the seller who sold you the contract for further information. The repair facility you have your vehicle at should be able to assist.
