My very dead battery is on charger and the parking lights are flashing quickly - why?

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. The parking lights are probably flashing due to the antitheft system malfunctioning with such low battery voltage. I would recommend disconnecting your negative battery, cable and continuing to charge the vehicle battery.
